From the Age of 22 until now, I have had a rule, and easy one to follow, when I don't know what to get. My mind always wonders back the box of chocolate rule, that I used with people I didn't know well, but its not good receiving a box of chocolates for your 22nd birthday!

Its the BOY GIRL rule:

BOYS get a bottle of wine, GIRLS get flowers

Why does this rule work? after the age of 22 most people have a full drivers and can afford to have a few drinks. Flowers are always relevant, friendly, and can hold multiple meanings.

So go out and get some flowers or a bottle of wine! Or if you are really lazy, order them online!

Its hard to believe that the VHS is slowly becoming a distant memory. Its sad, the days of jumpy VHS casettes are over, the days of furiously fast forwarding to your favourite part is a thing of the past.

What can I get someone that I know they can use, and they will enjoy? You can't go wrong with a DVD!

My choice is the Adam Sandler collection.

It contains 3 DVDs, Bullet Proof, Happy Gilmore, and Billy Madison.

We are told that there are more that 50% of Australians with shares, so how can this not be meaningful?

It teaches about investing wisely, how is that not useful?
